Price Protection Plans

Since heating oil is derived from crude oil, the market is global and complex causing the price to be influenced by numerous factors. Recently the value of the dollar, the condition of the U.S. and Asian economies, geopolitical concerns, and speculators seem to dictate the price of fuels. It is not uncommon to see historic price swings within a week trading period. For this reason C.E. Kiff Inc. has developed Price Protection Plans that will help protect you from the market’s unpredictable ups and downs.

Attention Customers:  The prepay and budget programs will be available for sign up until September 15, 2010, and the prices for each program may change between today and the deadline. The price for the fuel is determined on the date that you sign up. C.E. Kiff Inc. has a limited supply of heating oil and kerosene purchased at the prices posted below. If you are interested in a program and are comfortable with the price that you are quoted DO NOT DELAY – PRICES MAY CHANGE DAILY regardless of what you are quoted.

If you do not wish to participate in a prepay or monthly budget price protection plan, you may purchase your fuel at the market price and if you pay within 10 days of delivery C.E. Kiff will give you a prompt payment discount of 10 cents per gallon. You may also take advantage of automatic fuel delivery and a heating service contract.

The following plans will be available for the 2010- 2011 heating season

  1. Prepay Programs

    Fixed Price Prepayment Plan

  2. Prepaying in the summer and locking in a price has been traditionally the most predictable way to purchase your fuel for the heating season. Your price per gallon of fuel purchased will not change even if the market goes up or goes down. As a Prepay Fixed Price customer your account will be placed on automatic fuel delivery and you won’t have to worry about calling for deliveries.

A $0.20 per gallon cap insurance fee is associated with the Cap Plan. This cap insurance is purchased from our suppliers and is non-refundable.
